To collect, conserve, evaluate and utilize the vegetable germplasm resources; to identify the agronomic characters, disease resistance, stress tolerance and quality of chinese cabbage, cucumber, snap bean and pepper in different geographical regions in order to set up a complete system for vegetable germplasm utlization.
